What is Porktie?
Porktie is Barcelona’s online magazine for English speakers.
Each of our 10 annual issues are sent by email to the thousands of subscribers we have both in Barcelona and worldwide for them to read on their PC, Smartphone or tablet device.
At Porktie, our approach is unique - in each issue we choose a different theme and dedicate the magazine entirely to that chosen subject.
No matter what the theme, our aim is simple – to report on the best places, most interesting people and any other weird and wonderful things that Barcelona has to offer on that chosen topic.
We also keep you up to date with what's on in the city, and bring you the best selection English speaking jobs in Barcelona via our dedicated employment section. (New jobs are updated daily)

If you're learning English in Barcelona then Porktie is here to help. We know that textbooks can be a bit dull at times, so we have specially designed our magazine to help you to improve your English whilst reading about cool things in Barcelona.
At the end of each issue, there's a series of 10 English language questions based on what you've just read. Just submit your answers and we'll send you your results instantly via email.
We partner with some of the most prestigious language schools in Barcelona, whose students read each issue of Porktie to help link their language learning to the city they live in.
Once each student from these schools takes part in our language quiz, we then send their results direct to the teachers so they can track the progress of each student compared with the rest of the class.
