In the same year that Wham´s Careless Whisper was topping the charts across the globe and Marty McFly was first hitting 88 miles per hour - an industrial warehouse in Gracia´s Calle Lincoln was undergoing an ambitious transformation from textile factory to downtown super club.

Inspired by the underground scene in New York City at the time, Otto Zutz first opened its doors to Barcelona revellers in 1985. With split level mezzanine floors, exposed iron beams, and a pumping r&b and hip-hop soundtrack – ´Otto´ became an overnight success and firmly established itself as a giant of Barcelona nightlife.

While dozens of others have come and gone, over quarter of a century later this industrial masterpiece continues to lead the way. Here´s what you can expect to find on the 3 floors of Planet Otto this summer. Will you last until 6 am?

Ground Floor:Main Room
