This July sees the return of Sala Montjuďc - Barcelona´s open air film festival, held in the stunning surroundings of the castle gardens on Montjuďc Mountain.
On every Monday, Wednesday and Friday in July, this tranquil location high above Barcelona is transformed into a giant outdoor cinema, where you can gaze at stars of the silver screen under the stars of the Barcelona summer sky.
This summer´s line-up is an eclectic mix timeless classics and modern day masterpieces from across the world – all will be shown in original version with Spanish subtitles. Films start at around 10pm, but make sure you get there before 9pm to enjoy the live music that provides perfect pre-movie soundtrack as the sun sets over Barcelona.
