What do we offer?
Every month Porktie’s Native English editorial team gets together with qualified teachers to produce a quiz containing 10 questions based on the articles featured in each month’s magazine.
All your students need to do is read our magazine online and submit their answers based on what they have just read! Simple! We then collate all students’ results from the same school and send them in a consolidated email to their teacher in order for them to track the progress of each student compared with the rest of the class.
In addition to these 10 questions, the quiz also contains a ‘homework corner’ section where the students are asked to prepare a more detailed response to a discussion topic and bring it with them to share in class. This provides teachers with a ready made lesson plan for the next class, and allows the students a chance to relate their language learning to the city they live in.
Be crowned the best in class
Every school that registers with Porktie is entered into a competition against all other participating schools. An average score is calculated from all students’ results from the same school/ class, and this is then placed in a league table to see which school’s students get the most answers correct. The school finishing top of the league at the end of the year receives the prestigious crown of being the top English language school in Barcelona, and gets to enjoy our prizes given to the top performing schools and students involved. The ability to show your students’ performance compared with your competing schools can be an extremely useful tool when attracting new recruits to your language school.
