Meet the Family

 

Allow us to introduce you to the Damm Family.

Some members are stronger than others, some are a different colour, some come from different parts of the country, and some you will definitely prefer more than others. So, very much an average family then!

Like any family, each and every member possesses their own unique characteristics, so let’s get to know them a little better.

 

1. Estrella Damm

• Lager 5.4º
• The jewel in the crown! The best known and biggest selling member of the Damm family. A gluten free version is also available called Estrella Daura – exactly the same taste, just gluten free.

 

2. Voll-Damm

• Double Malt Beer 7.2º
• The strongest of all the Damm Family. Voll Damm is instantly recognizable for its intense flavour and darker colour. Caution: Drinking bottle after bottle will result in a severe hangover! (Take note of the high alcohol content)

 

3. Xibeca

• Pilsen Beer 4.6º
• Refreshing and smooth tasting, Xibeca is not quite as strong as other Damm family members. Goes down a treat on a hot summers day. Also a particular favourite amongst the Botellón generation

 

4. Bock-Damm

• Stout 5.4º
• One of the oldest members of the family - created in 1888 to emulate a traditional Munich stout. Intense toasted flavour with a slightly sweet aftertaste - best consumed between 6º and 8º C

 

5. AK Damm

• Lager 4.8º
• Created using the original method that founder August Kuentzman Damm (hence the ‘AK’) brought with him from his home town. Made from selected barley and hops from his native Alsace.

 

6. Weiss Damm

• White Beer 5º
• Cloudy, pale-yellow coloured beer with a creamy head. Very strong-bodied with a taste full of fruity overtones including banana, peach, ripe vine peach and orange skin.

 

7. Saaz

• Light Beer 3.5º
• The beer for people who don’t like beer! Made using the Saaz Hop from the Czech Republic, this beer is low in strength and designed to be less bitter than normal beers – it was actually created with women and younger people in mind.

 

8. Estrella Damm Inedit

• Lager 4.8º
• The first beer in the world designed especially to accompany food. One for the more sophisticated beer drinker.

 

9. Free Damm

• Alcohol free beer
• Who said you can’t drink and drive? Also available in both Lemon and Apple flavours

 

10. Damm Lemon

• Shandy 3.2º
• 6 parts Estrella Damm, 4 parts lemon – simple and massively refreshing!

 

11. Keler

• Extra strong beer – 6.5º
• Brewed according to the original recipe of Juan and Teodoro Kutz - 2 Germans who set up in San Sebastian in 1890. Widely available in the Basque country.

 

12. Estrella del Sur

• Lager 4.5º
• Hugely popular in Seville and across Andalucía.

 

13. Victoria

• Lager 5.4º
• Brewed by Grupo Damm for distribution mainly across Malaga
