Grupo Damm’s factory in El Prat de Llobregat is one of the most technologically advanced breweries in the world. Almost every aspect of the production process inside this towering structure is controlled by computers and robots.

In fact, it only requires 4 people to control the computers that handle the entire onsite brewing process.

The brewing process

Each beer that is produced in El Prat goes through an 8 stage process that takes around 4 weeks to complete. The process requires just 4 raw materials - malted barley, water, hops and yeast. Click here to see what happens in each of these 8 steps
